Individual Therapy
There are two intentional ways we can work together. Both are one-on-one therapy sessions — the difference lies in how we use the time.
Insight-Oriented Somatic Sessions
Body-based talk therapy focused on story, patterns, and self-understanding.
-
We begin with what is happening in your life - relationships, reactions, identity questions, or places where you feel stuck. As you share, we slow the process down and notice what is happening in your body. In those moments, body sensations become part of the conversation, helping us understand your experience more fully.
In these sessions, we:
Explore present-day challenges and recurring patterns
Notice body sensations that arise as you tell your story
Make connections between past experiences and current reactions
Follow what feels meaningful and alive in the moment
-
Builds deeper self-understanding
Brings more coherence to your story
Develops compassion for reactive or protective parts of you
Creates space for change that feels aligned rather than forced
-
Relationship patterns that repeat
Shame or harsh self-criticism
Identity questions or life transitions
Feeling stuck in old roles
Wanting insight that does beyond surface-level coping
-
Sessions are 55 minutes and offered virtually to clients located in Texas.
I am in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna.
The out of pocket fee is $165 per session.
I can provide a superbill for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement.
My work is trauma-informed and paced intentionally. We prioritize nervous system awareness and do not rush into intensive processing of traumatic memories.
Somatic Awareness & Regulation Sessions
Structured, body-centered sessions focused on building capacity and safety in the present moment.
-
These sessions are more experiential and intentionally centered on your internal experience. The emphasis is less on talking through events in your life and more on strengthening your ability to stay present with what happens inside your body.
These sessions may also include education about how your nervous system responds to stress and how those patterns develop over time.
In these sessions, we:
Focus on present-moment body sensations
Practicing noticing sensations in small, managable ways
Work gently with sensations that feel overwhelming
Use neurosensory exercises to build regulation and stability
Take “bite-sized” steps so your system can build capacity over time
-
Helps your body feel less scary
Builds tolerance for stress without shutting down or becoming overwhelmed
Creates more space for automatic reactions
Supports a steadier internal state
-
Chronic stress and burnout
Feeling on edge, shut down, or numb
Sensory overwhelm
Difficulty staying present with strong emotions
Wanting structured nervous system support in a contained format
