Does this guarantee a diagnosis?
No. The ADOS-2 is one component of a comprehensive evaluation. A diagnosis is based on clinical criteria, assessment results, and developmental history. The purpose of the evaluation is clarity — not to confirm a specific outcome.
How long does the process take?
The in-person assessment typically lasts 2–3 hours. Reports are generally completed within 3 weeks of the evaluation date.
Is this covered by insurance?
I am a private-pay provider. Some clients may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. I can provide documentation upon request, but I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to confirm coverage.
What does the written report include?
The report summarizes assessment findings, clinical impressions, and diagnostic conclusions (if applicable). It may be used for personal understanding or submitted for accommodations where appropriate.
